I think they were smoking crack when they wrote the recommended
enclosure specks...

On a street set up the pressure sensor Audiocontrol and Termlab are about 1.5 db apart. If he is hitting 144 on the term lab i am sure he is hitting 146 at the most on the Audiocontrol.
My last time on both meters within the same day (at the Kingston show) .. I had about a 3db difference between the 2

You have defended the volume a few times as being 'factory recommended'. From what I have seen, 'factory' boxes are generally undersized and far from optimum. This may not be the case here but IMO 1cuft exactly seems pretty coincidental for any sort of optimum box.

well it turns out nothing was wrong with the box....
he has an install issue with the wiring...the car was in Kamloops
last night getting metered on a Termlab
they changed enclosures and it was the same thing.
so he has to go over and double check all the wiring...
the DB's have dropped and the amp was cutting out
I should have some new numbers soon
