what would you guys recommend for both vented and sealed, it will be powered by a 200 rms amp

Is this 860wRMS or peak? Also, the instruction manual/specifications sheet should have recommended port size.

sealed = 0.4 cubes w/ polyfill

ported = .9 cubic feet @ 40hz

Dude seriously for an 8" sub there is nothing better than a T-Line Enclosure. Its probably the best SQ enclosure, it emphasizes on frequencies from 25-50hz...which gives you a perfect range for all types of music, its also very efficient on very little watts, and will make that 8" sound like a 12"...Only disadvantage of this type of enclosure is its size, but for an 8" its not that big anyways.
