Anybody run Hertz Mille Ml3000 (12")?

I'm looking for advice from anybody that has played with the Hertz ML3000
12's. I'm planning to run a pair of them, with approx 1200w each. It's been suggested to me that I run them sealed, but lately I've also heard that ported is the way to go. I've also heard that they do better in a much smaller enclosure that is suggested by Hertz.

Right now I'm leaning towards a simple sealed box, but if anybody has anything to add, be it anecdotal or 'proven' I'd be most interested in hearing from you.

I don't know much about the Hertz line but if you are interested in an option from another high end line, I have the Morel Ultimo 12 in stock and they need to find a new home.

I dont know if you found what you were looking for but here is what I found from Hertz : www.hertzaudiovideo.com > Technical > Download > Choose “Mille” / “Sub Comp” / “ML 3000”. Enjoy the read ! btw the second half of the document is in english .

They work very well in a small ported enclosure! I know someone that has 2 12" in a ported box in a Navigator, the box is shallow, ported and i belive its 47" wide, 14" high and 10" deep. They also work well in a generic type of enclosure. He has them running of an Audison LRX 5.1
