I want to build a daily driver box for one kicker L7 and there will be a mtx801d amp pushing it, I still want loud bass but clean, not sloppy, any suggestions?

 

ive got mine in 2 cubes each at about 38hz. sounds pretty tight and clean and gets very loud and can hammer the lows when you want it to

 

need more info hot nix, like is it a ported box or sealed? pictures?

 

well, me saying that they are in 2 cubes each at 38hz would mean that it is ported. let me rephrase, 2 cubes each, tuned to 38hz
i don't have time to snap pics right at the moment, but , it's pretty much self explanatory

 

You have heard Evan's truck, they are in about 2 cube sealed each. If you want ported I have had some luck with 2.6 ft^3 and 40 in^2 port area at 38Hz
