Going with a 15" RD Audio Sonance as far as I know. Few things came to my mind tonight.

I'm pretty sure I'm going with a Semi-wall, unless someone can give me a benefit to a trunk except for practicality.

How big of boxes do these subs like? I was thinking 5 cubes before sub displacement, but might be totally off. That would be for the Semi-wall of course with the trunk I could only get about 4 cubes before sub displacement. Every sub I've used has performed better in a larger than say "normal" box, in regards to SPL anyway.

Also tuning, I can get tuning of around 31hz-40hz keeping between 100-130" port area and keeping it around 5 cubes.

Haven't checked it out for a trunk setup yet.

Does this sub perform better for say SQL or would it be okay to go for more less SPL.

Thanks to whoever can relieve some of my mind boggling confusion.

What year is the car? Also the sonance is more of an SQL driver. As for youre tuning for SPL the year of the vehicle has to be factored for proper tuning of the box. 100-130 sq.in. of port is alot for a single 15 in 5 cubes.

2002. Yeah I've already been told about the port area. I always used 16"2 for every cube of box. I somehow messed up the calculation of 16x5. Kind of sad actually. What numbers would you expect if it was perfectly powered?

This is a daily driver, but I'm too young to care about SQ!
