crx box

wassup guys i have a crx with 2 earthquake d10's i got new s ubs today and i need help on a box design the subs are digital designs 3512's dual 1 ohm voice coils i need the box tuned to 64 hz around there and i wanna use 6" aero ports

id try 1.5 cubes per sub.

sub forward port back...external. One enclosure per sub. All single layer 3/4" mdf

As far as tuning goes you need to burp, shorten the tubes, burp, shorten the tubes...etc until it stops getting louder.

why 3/4 aqnd not 1 " cause the subs are heavy and can use t nuts on them , what about fiberglassing the inside of the sub box and rounding off the corners

keeping the box single layer (atleast at the beginning) will allow you to add layers after and test the difference rather than building a whole new box. same goes for 45s inside the box, resin etc.

best bet is to build the box as basic as you can to start and get your rough tuning done...then start doing the minor stuff.

atleast thats how i do it.
