picture quality as always is bad. as is the quick drawing :P but, should get the idea. im just not sure the dimensions i need to make it, or where the port should be for best performance. top is available space, middle is what i currently have, bottom is what i want to do.)

what I had in mind is what you drew in your 3rd sketch.

build yourself a false floor, or that area you have coloured in. you can mount your amps there, hide wiring and such.

i have an enclosure sketched up that measures 22" wide, 14" deep, 17" tall

*pulls out measuring tape*

that would be perfect... and give me a over a foot more leg room in the front.

now... what i will definatly need to know... is how, and where am i going to put the port? and what kind of port?

and when dealing with these dimesions, is this the outside, or inside dimesions? how thick are the walls to be? for inside the box should i be using 45 degree corners, or leave them 90?

sorry for all the questions :P

acutally is it possible to make it more of a square? little deeper, and not as wide? or is it made like that for a reason? instead of 22x14 , 20x16?

only reason i ask, is i have no idea of how the acoustics work for a subwoofer, and being 22 wide, i would have to relocate my jack and cup holders in the back. Which i can do if messing with the dimesions will mess with the sound.

edit, i see you already made up the diagram. nevermind then :P ill just do some mods to the back, its not a problem - thank you very much

18 width would be optimal for the install, but i can work with 20 or 22, its not too big of a deal.
