The dimensions of your box is really not the question. Its the volume you need to be aware of. that sub should be mounted in a fairly small box,
Sealed Box Volume 0.5 - 0.8 cubic feet
Ported Box Volume 1.2 cubic feet
The dimensions are up to you depending on where you plan to put this box and the space available.
a simple .8cf sealed box would be 13x13x12
a simple 1.2cf ported box would be 16x12.5x14.5
The 3/4 MDF will be fine but make sure you use a really good wood glue (I like to use a few screws as well)Use that Lepage no more nails adhesive. Its the best and its pretty cheap.
That's a badass sub, I love Orion gear.

Ive never had the G5's from Boston. I had a bunch of Boston pro's and they were stupid load. Thats a hard question for me because I don't know a hole lot about those subs or that amp.
Anyone else have any ideas???

If its loud you want, build a bandpass box.wont get much louder then that.
