Enclosure for a 10" Boston Acoustics G5
Hi,
I just picked up a 10" Boston Acoustic G5 sub and would appreciate your help with designing a box. Here's a link I found for the sub:
http://ap.bostonacoustics.com/assets...G5_GTR_Man.pdf
As for my car, its a 2004 Acura TSX and the dimensions of the trunk are:
31 inches wide
15 inches high
3 feet deep
I want to get the best sound quality out of this setup and was leaning towards a sealed enclosure.
The guy I bought the sub from told me to go with at least 1 inch think MDF. As for the positioning of the sub once its installed, does it matter if the sub is facing the back of the car (sub is placed in the box vertically) or if the sub is facing up (sub is placed horizontally).
Thanks
