fiberglass materials
I was just wondering where everyone gets their fiberglass mat and resin? (kitchener-waterloo area or even toronto area)
At canadian tire they have a 1 meter x 1 meter piece for $10 .. it seems kinda pricey.

Look in the yellow pages under fiberglass supplies. The resin at Canadian tire is months, if not years old. Its dark brown or black when you get it. I buy from a place called PVC plus (gel-coat canada). The resin I get is always blue or green. The newer the resin the better drying and even mix with your hardiner. No hot spots or warping. If you can find a specialty place you may get a better deal.
I pay $5 per yard for a heavier glass matt. and $150 for 5 gallons of resin. Ive dealt with these guys for over 10 years and I buy alot off them so my price may be better than yours. If you have trouble finding a resin shop, try a marine supply shop and then an auto body supply place
