'Glass box for GMC Crew Cab pics

A single JL 10-W1 in a 1.1ft ported box.
It turned out nice so I took a mould.

I knew you'd like that one Dukk....how else ya gonna get a ported 10 in one of these trucks?
It sounds good too, and only needs a couple hundred watts to get pleasantly loud.

Looks good. Spend a lot of time on it? Looks like it took some time to get it all moulded to fit around everything.

It took a couple of days to make the box...then about a week to get it to the mould stage.
There's got to be a faster way to get em smooth enough to be able to pry off the mould on a complex shape like that.

The next ones will go fast tho...I figure 10 hours or so from start to finish, not counting curing time.

Did it sound good firing up? I usually try to fire subs down in trucks. Most of the JL stealth boxes are designed like that.
Ive had standing wave problems with subs facing up.One trck had tons of bass with the doors open and sucked with the doors closed.
WEre you been hiding

it sounds pretty good....can't downfire with these subs really....just not enough inches between the floor and seats. besides....most of the energy comes from the port anyways, and it's pointed sideways...sorta horn loaded I suppose.
And apparently the girls like to ride in the back seat ....dunno why....the staging is much better in the front lol.
I'm hoping to make the trek to ottawa sometime soon....If I do, we'll have to go for some beers Shon.
No brown sid tho dood.
