Cool ok one question 2.25 is the listed area needed for the sub that is including the driver displacement. It notes that it does not include the port. So wouldn't your "net" be larger? 2.7 each?

same site listed before, RE audio, but you need dimensions to input to get the cuts.

RE Enclosure Calculator

"net" is after all displacements (incl. driver and ports), so that design is about 2.25 cubes including driver which is the right specification. I also ran that design through another speaker design program to make sure the port was big enough to deliver low port noise. It's a good design to avoid standing waves in the box as well with the slanted front baffle. I'd line the inside walls with polyfill as well to dampen resonances. It'll sound very good and get very loud.

Awesome this is just the type of help and instruction I was looking for it is much appreciated you don't even know. This is the first attempt at a ported box I have tried, I guess it wouldn't be so bad if it were a regular port but I'm kinda nervous bout the slotted port thing, the dimensions of it kinda confuse me but I'll get it I hope

If you want to make it simpler...just make a single box without a divider, and only one slot port. it'll sound the same, it's smaller, and is much easier to build.

perhaps you should reread what I posted bro, I gave you the re calculator on the very first post. You told me it wouldn't help..lol
Then...

That thumb is perfect what site is that or is it a program?

lol
then..

Thanks veeman that has been the most help thus far.. My the manual that came with the sub gives dimenions for sealed
Encloseur but not vented. In the manual it recommends a rectangular vent whitch is gonna be the next challenge

The next challenge? The re calculator IS for a rectangular vent..

Just needling you man . ..

So, you know those volumes aren't fan scanlated yet (at least not what I've been able to find). Now that it's officially released in English, those volumes, the project probably won't be picked up again in any hurry.
