I have a 95 S10 ext cab and looking to put 4 12" subs ....Some people say I should down fire the subs that it would sound better but not to sure if that would work?If anyone knows the best way to make this truck pound or any good ideas please let me know ......

 

sealed box @ 4.35 cubic feet sealed subs facing up

ported box @ 8 cubic feet after displacement tuned at 36hz subs up, port up

 

port in the middle or drivers side ?

 

The further away the better. That is from your ears. If you point down you may use the space below to help tune what you hear.
