i really appreciate how helpful everyone has been.. its really amazing..
i put half a tube of sealant in the box tonite.. and im going to use those diagrams and tripple check the wiring.. but im sure i have it wired right :| .. i have no idea whats up with it..
it almost feels like the amp is just way over rated..
i'll take u up on that offer for sure.. i need someone to point out my mistakes.. or.. confirm that im not retareded lol

Definitely make sure the box is as sealed as possible. Is it possible the sub is dual 8ohm? and your only getting 450 from the amp?
Bring it to BRG, haven't physically met him yet, but can tell you, he's a very knowledgeable guy.

Only use the last diagram. The others where for amps that couple posts together. After Nick told me what amp it was, I looked up your manual, then made up the last one based on it.

The sub only came in a 4ohmDVC configuration........with that amp wired correctly it should be.....you know.....
Rwgottar, you really need to come around here for a look-see, today or tomorrow during the day is best for me.....

so i sealed the box up completely air tight.. and rewired the amp from the batter back.. and bought some higher gauge wire for the sub.. and it helped a bit.. i think the problem is mostly that im expecting bone shatter bass from a 10 inch sub .. lol i think i may just sell it and get another alpine.. the type x's look pretty bad ***...
unless.. jalat finds it in his heart to send some plans for a ported box.. and see if that helps.. lol
