Hey everyone! im am soon going to be buying an Audioque 15" hdc3 with a copper coil. I am going to build my box VERY soon, maybe at the end of this week. This is what i need your guys help for! This is going to be my first sub enclosure build! so I am very excited!!! but i dont know what dimensions to use.....

so if someone can help me build a box tuned to about 32hz and about 4 Cubic Feet.

What I listen to: rap, hip hop deep bass

Max dimensions: Height: 27 inches
Width: 35 inches
Depth: 38 inches

Subwoofer: AudioQue HDC3 copper coil 15"

Tuning freq: 29-32Hz

Amplifier: AudioQue 1200D

I hope this is enough information! if not, Please ask for more!!!

Also, I would like to include 45 degree angles in the box!

Thanks for the help!!!!!

Have you tried RE Lslot program I have used this and built 4 boxes in the last 2 weeks for friends and they all loved them. I am not sure if I can post the link here or not but you can Pm me if you need it.35x 20x17 with a 4 inch port will give you 4.473sq feet nit including the displacement of the sub tuned to 31.9818772598126...the cal. will give you all the dimensions of the pieces you need I go to Home depot and buy the MDF and have them cut it all then just come home and put it all together.

After reading this I made a new box design =)

how is this?

All of this is in inches =)

Width=26
Height=22
Depth=24
Wood Thickness=0.75
Port width=5
Port length 2=7
Port area=102.5
Box volume w/o displacement=4.5
tuned frequency=38hz

Does this sound good?
I also used the RE slot box calculator

Thanks!

The problem with the RE Enclosure Calc is that the cubic footage and tuning is off the larger the enclosure is made.

Give me time and I'll come up with something for you.
