Question Help a noob out

Hi all I just joined this forum and wanted to say hi and also ask a question. Het is the sub i have and i put it in a qlogic 2 cb ft box what size port do i need for it.

hate to sound dumb but you have to put in it laymans tearms like 4" port XXXX long or 6" port XXX long

The image is for a slot ported box. I recommend that you get rid of the prefab box and build a box specific to your driver like what Jalat designed. You really aren't doing any justice to your subwoofer by using that box.

If you are dead set on putting a round port in your box it should be 4" wide and 17" long...tuned to 33hz.

Thanks for the info, What I would like to do is to put 2 10" or 1 12" kicker l5's on the back ledge of my pt cruiser in a sealed box (less air space required) so I don't loose the trunk. I had the qlogic box and the vega in the basement so I decided until funds allowed I would use that.
