Lexan Install

On my new box that im building i want to put a lexan Spider on there (Soundstream logo) and light it up with a blue LED but i have no idea where to start from. the lexan im getting well trying to get is 1inch and the size is about 16 x16 sheet of it.

Now i was thinking of countersinking it into the box show off the subs then i thought would it blow out from the seems?

let me hear some idea if you guys have some.

my advice - avoid polycarbonate (lexan) and choose acrylic (plexiglas or acrylite). You will be way better off...

not true - unless specifically treated to be scratch resistant.

Even then, avoid polycarbonates.
