looking for box ideas for a RF T212d4

wondering what other people have done with these subs, just use the box that RF specs, or make something else

can the sub be installed in a sealed box?

i would prefer a smaller box and would sacrifice volume to get it

it's going in the trunk of a 2002 pontiac grand prix gt

the box specs from RF give it 3.12^3ft gross with a net of 2.25^3ft

I have built many boxes for the RF T2 12"...
these subs need a ported box to perform...
use 2.25cf3 plus sub and port dissplacement and tune
at about 35hz...

was wondering if it would be possible to do something like this... and i'm wondering if there would be any noticeable benefits to doing so

the idea being to have the port facing into the cab space through the fold down middle rear seat back
