looking for some pointers
i have 3 V1065S4 Visonik 10's in a 37.5"x13.5"x14" (W,H,D) box with a divider between each sub, powered by a Bass Inferno 2000W amp.
now the specs say .5-1.0 cu ft, sealed or 2.25 cu ft vented. the max space i could go is 37.5x14x22 (W,H,D). i find certain songs they hit nice and hard and vibrate the crap out of everything then other songs i can barely hear any output from them. i think my enclosure is too small, or maybe i should go to a vented style port with only 2 subs.
any suggestions would be great

The drop in response at certain frequencies may be due to other factors......box location and system setup come to mind......

~ 3.75 cubic feet tuned @ 36hz using aeroports (or even PVC pipe)
Each port is 4" in diameter and 11.5" in length
Make sure each port is secured properly using something like PL Premium. You want to make sure they flex as little as possible and and air tight secured.
Top - 36"x18.5"
Bottom - 36"x18.5"
L Side - 17"x11.5"
R Side - 17"x11.5"
Front - 36"x11.5"
Back - 36"x11.5"

wow first off thanks every one for your responses
420guy i do like that box design, simple and to the point, and close to what i need is 35hz, yes the subs i have are 400w rms and the big magnets, but mine are single voice coil, i wouln't mind going a little bigget to maybe 1.2 or 1.5 cu ft per sub, at 35 Hz.
BigRedGuy, yes i am aware with vented i can fit 2 and well if it is way more efficent i shouldn't need the 3rd sub, i have considered my components i've played with the settings i got it sounding ok, but could be better lol
Jalat thanks for the design i will definently consider it as well, and yes i thought 2.45 cu ft seemed huge for a 10, because nobody made a box even close to being that big atleast i couldn't find one that's why i want to make my own

jalat, if you still have the design you did for my Clarion's would you post it up as well please. I have the same subs he has in my box now and they are doing awesome. 141.8 on music at the Kjohn show until they started smoking. OP DO NOT put a 2000 watt amp on a pair of these and you should be okay. LOL
OP, if you want the specs for those subs PM me and I'll email 'em to you.
