^ no.

lol - actually, you're correct. Anyone building one should really take the time to figure out their displacements though.

^I agree it is necessary to figure out the displacements so I can make the box that much bigger as a result. Yet for the construction, I want to keep it as simple as possible. Here is my plan when I get to building:

Figure out optimal box size.
Calculate the displacement of 3 ports & add to box volume.
Calculate the displacement of 3 drivers (although I only plan to use 2) & add to box volume.
Create box with new volume and build a wall 2/3 in with 2 ports in large chamber and 1 port in small chamber.
Calculate an equivalent displacement of one driver and add that to the floor of the small chamber.

For me, to move the wall slightly to compensate for driver displacement is too much of a headache, I'd rather add an equivalent cubic mass to the small chamber than to calculate the 1 & 5/64 of an inch the wall should move for driver displacement.

Cheating - perhaps.
Simple - definitely.

And if it works, I'm sure the nit-pickers will forgive you...........maybe.........

Don't forget to take a few pics along the way......
