new box build. design needed please?...
but the last "red" number is the port length... and so your saying that the port width is 3.5" and the port length is 2"........ ahhhh nvm i see now... the port length... and the second port length... lol... i see it now... ok. so as long as that works... and i guess the extra 4" depth won't do a whole lot... other then make the box heaveyer haha.

Are they P1,P2, or P3's?GL, HTH
ok well thanks that helps me out big time... now the fun part. the money and i was thinking of getting a guy i used to work with cut it out on the cnc machine... lol... I'd just have to git him a sheet of MDF to him and wait till he gits time to cut it out. lol.
ok lol sorry i'm not too smart today... it's still the weekend so my brain's playing dumb. i've figured it out now though. thanks alot man. and yes the cutlist will help alot makes the process alot faster...
Make an enclosure out of 3/4" MDF with your max dimensions. That should give you around 3.6 cubic feet. Then make a 4" aeroport 6.25" in length to get a tuning around 36hz. Should give you around 3.4 cubic feet after all displacements (1.7 cubes per woofer)

Totally agree. Why waste equipment? I don't see a problem with running a common chamber for both subs, especially considering the situation. I'm going to assume they are either P1's or P2's. Either way they can be wired down to 2 Ohms final load, and running an Aeroport will make the most of this situation and will simplify the install. The 2 Ohm setup is going to make the most of the equipment, and by running both subs, you don't have a paperwieght just because you want a new box
