Question

"The ideal size recommended by Alpine is 1.25 cu/ft. One 4" diameter x 13" long port should be used with the 1.25 cu/ft enclosure."

What would an equivelant vent size be?

I am thinking of using the following eclosure design:

Any comments or suggestions?

Also 3 questions:

1. Does the enclosure below require any additional bracing, should volume be increased?

2. Should i use a connection box or is it better to feed the speaker wires directly through a hole in the box and seal it afterward?

3. Should i use polyfill to line the interior of the box, if so how much and should it be stuck to the walls with adhesive?
