Ported Box Tuning Frequency
#4
Porting low can extend low frequency response of the woofer and move group delay down where it wont be as pronounced... porting high will probably increase overall SPL...
When I met you a few monthes ago you seemed to be all about SQ. Knowing that Id recommend porting low (like 20-25hz) or going sealed. Id also aim for a QTC around .7 which is generally recommended for a mix of spl and accuracy.

Thanks Haunz...
I am looking for a happy medium between SPL and sound quality. I also want it to go low. I'm not worried about squeezing every last decibel out of the system. I have lots of amp power, so that should help.
BTW, I don't believe we have ever met.
