Round port length - gross or net volume

I am going to be finishing off my box tonight but I was not able to come up with any posts which answer a question I have.

When using port calculators they all ask for the volume of the enclosure. Are they referring to the volume before sub and port displacement or after.

My box is 1.5 ft3 before displacement

1.2 ft3 after subwoofer displacement

1 ft3 after subwoofer and port displacement. Of course I am estimating the port displacement.

Unless specified, most calculators work on NET volume.

your sub displaces 0.3 cuft? That's seems like a lot to me given that a type r 12" displaces only 0.071 cuft, and a dd 9515 only displaces 0.233 cuft..and they are massive. Is it 1 or 2 subs?

Good catch, i re read the specs and i have no idea how I got to .323. It should have been .03.
