Spl Box
im struggling with the same problem, hatch backs are best suited for the ports to the back of the car and subs facing up towards the roof/glass, im giving a different approach and got 4 4" ports (38 Hz) to the back of the car and trying the subs facing forward of that car, not sure what kind of difference it will make but i will find out

If most of the winners in comps use a certain configuration in a given type of vehicle, there's probably a good reason. The only place I've seen front and rear firing work out is in a home theatre sub where the box sits in front of a wall......

darb u couldnt be more wrong. every car, even a hatch car, likes a different box with different sub and port positioning. we did 155 in our Street B toyota yaris with a box thats nothing close to what u describe, and yes, it is a hatch car. stop thinkin outside of the box, be creative. there is no specific way a box has to be in a hatch car, try everything.
