Spl Box, slide in port = music box

hey all i need some help figuring this one out, i'm getting 2 dd 9512 and i want an spl box and then i want to be able to slide another port inside the spl port so its good for music... first i need a decent spl box design, i have 38wide X 13 High X 38 Deep... how big should i make a port for an spl box and how big for a music box?

i figure i can get away with a 10 X 10 port but i don't know how deep to make it or how to tune it or anything

a box like this will suck for spl. if u are doing this i'd suggest going with just a musical box and scrap spl.

it was a thought i'm just gonna make an spl box and see how it does for me

i would just make 2 boxs on for each and when yu go to a show just pull it out it takes about 15 mins to do it anyways

i have heard of ppl doing the "inserts" and getting good results... all they did was change port... going from say 55hz for spl to say... 35hz for daily
