Subs on different sides of the Box

I'm trying to put 4-10's into the trunk of my cavy and not take up a hole crap load of space.

I'm Thinking of building a box with 2 of the subs on the top and 2 on the front.

Also how much room should there be between the subs magnets from the sub on the top to the sub on the side.

Would this work or should i just go with 2 - 10's on the same side.

Thanks for the help

Four 10's done properly is going to take up most of a cavy's trunk. Sure you could put them in a really small sealed enclosure but.................why?

I don't know what type of 10's you're planning on using but a consideration might be to use a single 15" driver as it will have more cone area than two 10's and will use a smaller enclosure than the four 10's. The cost of four 10" driver's should get you one really nice 15 incher also. A high-end single 15" driver, ported, with plenty of power should be more than plenty for most user's.

if you had the set up as a push pull set up / a back loaded set up ,one firing tuo of the box and the other firing into the box (Compound Loading)

there RF P1's that i got for 6 bucks each ( repaired cones)

im gonna go with a sealed box of recommended size. (Rf recommends .59 cubes per sub)

im going to put 3 subs facing the back and one firing upward. the box in total is going to be 16"x11"x32"-3/4" mdf

i figure it should be louder then my S10L5 ported.
