TL boxes
#21
N130Gv2 thank You for advice, I know what I gotta do now :]... I was just making sure that my idea of placing the sub is not totally wrong.... so to get this thing right, the port length is pretty much the whole box? or it starts about when the sub ends?.... Oh and im using a discontinued Visonik sub that I cant get any info whatsoever on, so it should be interesting...(Model: Visonik V1265S4 its the "high performance" version lol)

P.s. ... I think my sub is in fact V127DV4 since it looks exactly like V1265S4 but has DVC( I assume the S stands for single and D- dual), the thing is there is nothing written on the sub, and google doesn't even return single thing on V127DV4... so that has to be it....

correction... found the exact model- Visonik V127D4 12! that's the "high performance" and award winning -lol- . sorry about the miss mach, I just got it out of my paper stash (that was the one I went asking around shops and phoning US dealers, and that's the actual model)- the model I posted previously was just a quick find of google (looks the same), that I putted for reference...

Pretty sure this one is 42hz. He's designed and built many for this car. The last one was like 34hz but took up the entire trunk. I've been chatt'in back and forwath with him for a couple years now. He knows his TL's let me tell ya. You should see his home theater.
Not to mention he is a welder by trade so this stuff is done all on his own. Every piece is laser cut from flat metal. All CAD designed.

Jl helped me build a t line for my 03 cougar, and yeah it eat's alot of space, but after riding around with 2 12's in the back seat, I must say that the 1 12 in a tline kicks way harder and tighter than the 2 in a ported custom box. and the tline is in my trunk.
