I found that for my 10w6v2, the volume suggested in http://mobile.jlaudio.com/pdfs/7876.pdf for a sealed box was just about right (according to WinISD Pro). However, to get a bit lower F3, I ended up putting 3/4 of a pound of polyfill ($4 at Fabricland) into the box to trick it the sub into thinking it was in a .1 cuft bigger box (effective .75 cuft). WinISD shows a smooth rolloff from around 45 Hz, but in the car, given the transfer effect at my listening position, the bass just starts to roll off (actual F3) at 31 Hz. F10 is at 20 Hz. It's pretty much flat down to actual F3, and if I had your deck, it would be even flatter. I'd suggest using JL's suggested spec of 1.25 cuft for a 12w6v2 sealed. Add a little eq at 65+ Hz if you need more snap?
