Free-floating, port wrapped around, braced with 12 bolts, for 2 SMD 18's in 8 cf3. I know a port ratio of 1:3 or less should be used but how would this work if the air was evenly displaced around the box? Weak air movement, noise, not enough back pressure? If the ratio was 1:4 the tuning would be around 30hz says a port calculator.
