where do you buy carpet for sub boxes?

where do you buy carpet for sub boxes?

not sure where to get the carpet and what kind. And which is the best spray on glue to use for this purpose?

I go to either a Lens Mills store or a KW surplus,(army surplus) they have the 3m glue as well..in a spray can

the best stuff to use is helmutine, (hope i spelt that right), i find that the 3M lets go in the heat. For carpet the best place to go would be to your local audio shop, they will usually have black or charcol, where in Toronto you from

finding carpet always seems to be touch and go

I usually look for plush automotive carpet...

contact cement will make it stick.... put a light coat on the back of the carpet as well as on the box for best results.....

for a first time carpter i would your proper box carpet, much easier to use and more friendly to bend and shape because of its backing
