meh......the vxd609 is only 400watts, and it wasnt in a rex, it was a civic, compared to some people in kelowna who spent over 4g's, i spent 300, and i was 3 db louder,that was western finals in ktown in 2006

but thats a little off topic?

It's not as bad as I thought it was. The bottom & top right are burnt. It blew 1 of the 4 40A fuses. Are those small transistors supposed to be leaning over slightly or did those melt and move? Can it be fixed?

i built many of the types of sonotubes youre referring to up top. i built them for 15s a few years back. main pipe was 15 inch sewer pipe, thick wall pvc, with a 2 inch baffle on each end. one end i used to mount the subs of course, and the other end had 8 inch pvc flared ports. two of these were doing over a 156 in a 97 explorer. very efficient designs. btw subs were facing forward and ports to rear of course.

156 with two 15's - which mic?

How are they for sub loading?

It was on a termlab with about 6500 watts. That was with the port internal. Sub loading is better if the port is external.
