You''ll be sitting on my subs :/

Ok, so after some thought , and weighing my options, I have come to the conclusion that, in order to get the design i want in my truck, I might have to turn my rear bench into the sub box. I cant fit them in behind the rear seat, (I am not fond of shallow mount subs). I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for me in my journey, or if anyone here has done this, and what the out come is like when you are sitting on them, Does the bass penetrate the cushions too much, making it uncomfortable to sit on? The subs that will be in there are 2 10" Jl w3s, amp is unknown at this point.

you don't want the sub to fire at the seat, it should down-fire to the floor. This way it will be protected and the person sitting on top feel it too much.

If you're not in a hurry, wait for the SI BM mkIII you could probably build a box for two that will fit under the seat and will be way louder that the 2 w3.
