The two hotels listed on the car sound forum for the IASCA Finals are the Marriot, which has a foot bridge between the hotel and the convention center and the Wyndham Memphis, which is just behind the Marriot, a 2 minute walk to the convention center.

The rates at the Marriot are (approx.) $129.00 a night and for the Wyndham are $79.00 a night. The Wyndham will only offer this rate for Friday and Saturday nights, so if you want to stay until Monday morning, you'll have to pay their regular rate of $129.00 for the Sunday night.

I just got off the phone with them reserving my rooms and they say they're filling up fast so be smart and book your rooms now. Don't forget to tell them you want the IASCA (or International Auto Sound Challenge Association) rate at $79.00 per night.

I'm positive IASCA had the wrong hotel on their website before.. anyhow, the $99 rate that I'd booked was at that wrong Marriot.

Cancelled that, phoned to get the IASCA rate at the correct hotel - it's sold out.

But they have a AAA (CAA) discount too... and it's better than the IASCA rate. $116 for 2 people.

Now I just gotta find someone with a CAA membership!!

I could be wrong about the rate at the Marriot. Please check the thread on the carsound forum for the proper rate.

The Wyndham Memphis is apparently as nice as the Marriot, and as of yesterday they still had rooms left. I booked there, because I'm cheap , $79.00 per night is better than even $99.00 per night !

I rebooked at the Marriott downtown - I like skyways to shows

The $99 rate is at another Marriott that's not downtown.

That sucks about the wrong hotel..

If you book with a CAA card, I wonder if you would need the card when you check in?
