You're going in the right direction 8 track... your plans to cut costs are the same as the rest of us.

When we went down to Spring Break, our highest expense was fuel. We went to Daytona Beach AND back (3 of us) for about $750.00 (Cdn). You buy a couple cases of your favorite drink, some sandwich meats, bread and snacks at the grocery store before you leave, sleep in the car on the way down and back, and other than fuel, your only cost is the hotel room at the show. And if you're going down with friends, you split the cost of the room.

I hope you can make it down, it would be awesome to see you compete with an 8 track player!

I'm thinking if I'm reallt thrifty,I may be able to come up with about$600...but even then thats if nothing major pops up(car repairs,etc)so we will see... [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

But then theres also the case of getting time off work..remember,I have already taken a week off...so may not..if I got the invite in my hands,it may make a better case for me to my boss,but hard to say.

If anyone from Kicker,Kenwood,US Accoustics,or MTX happens to read this,I would love to talk sponsorship....
