I foresee a good amp blowing your subs to pieces. Those subs are fighting eachother. They have to be. When they are playing the middle one is very likely not moving the exact same as the others. This causes them to stop or momentarily pause (similar to clipping) which yields the exact same outcome... blown speakers.

At the very least, separate the subs into their own chambers. Or even better, as previously suggested, build a new box for the 2 piles ported around 38hz and you will have cleaner, louder, more accurate bass.

Thanks! Certainly is possible I might blow the subs. I'd hate to have to build a box again, but the subs if blown, I am not at a great loss. Just means I'd have to see about getting a couple 12" inch and build a box.

If you are serious about our advice.

Pick up a nice $150-200 Component set (60-75rms), have that PG amp (if it's still good) run them. Pick up a PPI PC 2150 (2x150 @4 , 1x300 @4 or 1x600 @2) for $150+ on ebay, and pick up an ID Max 12" V3, $250-300 e-bay and your laughing...the system will outlast a few cars too.
