my friend wants to get some subs in his truck and he wants to buy a box that fits under his seats it is for dual 10" subs and has .55 cu ft per chamber and 6 1/8 mounting depth so far about the only thing i can find are image dynamics idq 10's that say they can go in a box that small does anybody else have some recommondations? he is going to power whatever they are with a pdx 1000.1 too

Look for some shallow mount woofers.

Kenwood
Rockford fosgate
MTX
Pioneer
and a couple more companys make some decent shallow mounts. buddy of mine just had a P3S and was giving it around 500rms and took it like a champ

do the shallow mounts actualy have some good output? he used to have dual 10's cvr's and he has a 15 cvr now but doesnt want it taking up his seat in the back do you think something like 8" L7's would put out more sound than some shallow mount subs?

how would it affect the sub if say the min sealed enclosure size was .66 cuft and you put it into a .55 cuft box is the .11 going to make a very big difference? i can find lots of subs that are around there for box size just not to many for only half a cube
