i just noticed i joined this site november 2000 so in a couple days it'll be my 10 year anniversary. Just wondering how long you've been here. How long has cca been around? Funny thing is when i first joined this site i was running a Alpine 7927(something like that, it was old), a fosgate 360A2, a Fosgate 200A4, two 12 inch mtx 6000's, focal components. What were you running when you first joined?

wow, well, I have been here, ahhhh << whatever it says,
my first system I had hwen I started was 2 15" ma audio HK's, and a pair of alpine 605 amps, then I stepped up to 4 12" type r's in a blazer with 2 1005's, then my lancer was a handful of setups, none of which made me happy. lol.

 

I joined here November 2, 2000. I had been on termpro for a while (member #68 over there.... ) and some one put a link to this board in a post.

When the behaviour there got to be too stupid for me I gave up on it and switched over here.....much better spot.....

I was in the process of switching to mostly Orion gear around the same time, not sure what I was listening to.....

 

happy anniversary almost bro. Anyone know how long cca was around? I didn't even realize i've been here for 10 years until today. Learned a lot since i joined, that's for sure.

 

Hm, let's see... I was member #8 from the original board. I had to 'rejoin' in 2006 when admincca took over as a software upgrade nuked a bunch of the accounts, mainly the mods and admins of the time.

I'm trying to think of when the original board went up... I'm thinking 1999 or so..

 

I've been around, I'm member #53.
At the time I joined my gear consisted of the following:
Sony XES-Z50
Soundstream Rubicon 805
Soundstream Exact 6.3 and 4.3
Soundstream Exact 10's (x3)

 

Wow... hard to believe it's been nearly 10 years that I too have been a member here! Not the most prolific of posters, but I do read a lot.
Sad thing is I have really not done much with my system in the time I have been here... but the equipment has certainly come and gone!

 

I believe I joined about a year or less before the Rickster got ahold of the board.
