12" Flame Q VS Infinity kappa perfect 10"

I have right know 2 10" perfect powered by alpine mrd-m1001 amp, the whole in a sealed box whit a 1farad monster cap. I got this opportunity to buy of a local dealer 2 12" flame Q serie from audiobahn rated at 1100RMS my infinity are 350RMS or so (underrated). The infinity arent a week old yet, brand new the Flame Q are 1 or 2 years old but apparently in mint condition. I dunnot know to much about Audiobahn and i am wondering if it would be worth it changing subs for these...will i really see a diffrence in quality? and loudness or this isin't really worth it. The local dealer is asking 425$ obo for the pair...could prob get it for 375$ if i bargain. Then could prob sell my infinity not to far from that i belive cuz they are brand new... just wondering if this is worth it...like to have your imput on this
thanks

Don't do it. Those Kappas are great subs. Most Audiobahn is crap IMO.

A sub that although new is out of warranty with the current distributor, that is drastically overrated vs. a sub that is new and has warranty, seems like a simple thanks but no thanks to me. If the dealer will provide warranty on the subs, then bargain away as these 12's do pound regardless of how overrated they are. If he puts a warranty on it, get it in writing. I have dropped this line over this very situation and now no longer deal with any subs from this distributor (if I can help it) due to refusal of warranty on blown subs.

are you nuts?! Infinity kappa perfects all the way!

why else do you think audiobahn went out of business... people I knew who had these subs kept blowing them up, and having to send their speakers in for warranty repairs... its low quality stuff!

kappa perfects are high high end, but very nice sub for the money. Please, keep the subs!

Audiobahn is not out of business yet, But I believe in a years time they will be. Right now they're still doing talks about bankruptcy.. But for the OP I would deffinitly choose the Perfects over the Flame Q..
