wtf, that's your new car?! looks just like your old one LOL. but your old one had nicer wheels!!! nonetheless, your new car is definitely nice. I love the kit and carbon hood. we gotta do another meet for next year.

question:

seriously, how do you think the dual 12" premiers will sound if i do decide to go with the 2cube ported boxes that I'm thinking of customizing? to my knowledge, it should be blistering loud!!! and not only loud, but hit nice and LOW... which is the goal of this setup.

Thoughts?

They have a mounting depth of over 13". How do you expect to fit them? Expect to be using at least 3/4 if not 1" MDF which means about 15" deep box. And the subs starts at about.85 to over 2cf per sub. No way, no how. Not to mention you will need some big power to run those. Not to mention they look to be prtty shitty truth be told. If you INCIST on 12's, and least find ones that can go in a smaller box and actually work. You put bigger subs in a setup and you will get results. Frankly I bet you could get certain 8's to pound harder than those in that car!

Ok so what was I supposed to read? The guy calling me a moron?

Bro, I seldom listen to people on the net. And when I see a guy talking about sound quality while running a pioneer DEHP6300 I would listen even less still.

Do your own research. Understand how audio and more importantly frequencies work. And how the environment will change the acoutic properties of a speaker. Once you understand what all the number and specs mean you will be able to judge for yourself.

OR

Wait till someone says what you want to hear. Run out and buy those subs, build your ported box by specs and don't consider the environment it's going in, and when it sounsd like *** you can admire what you've built and enjoy thinking of the money thats been pissed down the drain. And while you're at that you can figure out what sort of front end you'll run to keep up with those subs.

Honestly I could do some digging post a few RTA graphs of speakers output in a controlled environment, then show you some in a vehicle, but honestly it's not worth the time. Sorry bro, I don't agree with your idea, and If I did I would not agree on the choice of sub or enclosure type. The only valid information you got from that post was the suggestion to make them sealed boxes becasue at least then you could make them smaller and control the output a little more.

Don't worry I still love you and all, just learn things yourself rather than waiting to hear what you wanna hear.
