12 volt radio on 24 volt system

I have a car radio in a piece of heavy equipment. It is a 24 volt system so there is an inverter for the 12 volt supply. Each time the machine is turned off the 24 volt power is cut completely (by master switch) so i cant use the memory feature (yellow wire). Can the power failure default stations be changed so i dont have to reprogram the stations each time it is turned back on? is there any other workaround?

it will always reset when it loses power. you can hook up a step down module directly to the batts so you have a constant power wire @12v
