i would hedge my bet that this is one of the most difficult vehicles to install a radio into
right up there with say a 2000 chev truck
or a mid 90's tempo
i would almost think that dash disassembly is probably over your install level
i would probably suggest strapping the radio to the top of the dash
or maybe just put something heavy to hold it there

'93, controls in the dash and the seperate tape section in the lower level?
It not difficult bu tget a harness for sure and the dash part will be a littloe pocket now and the bottom part will house the unit.

pull off the trim that is around the tape deck and climate controls, then there are 3 screws holding the deck into place, it's pretty simple. PM me if you want more details, I drove a 93 cavi for 5 years.
