1996 Pathfinder Factory Amp Question
Hey, I hooked up an Alpine 9843 in a 1996 Pathfinder tonight. Did the remote turn on, and grounded the factory amp through the harness. Seems to work fine, but he hits max volume at about 11-12 out of 35 on the Alpine. Is this because the amp is receiving too high of a signal input? Any way around this? Thanks!

^^ Thanks, looks like the factory amp should be mounted behind the back left panel, would the best way be to run new speaker leads back to the amp and tap in that way, or is there a better way? Cheers.

dont waste your money buying adaptors and crap like that, take the rear quarterpanel off and make a bypass, its easy and takes only about 45 minutes to do, the amp in that deck is better that the one in the pathfinder. unplug going into the amp, unplug going out of the amp and splice together, the method by which you splice is your choice
