hello i have 2 4 ohm L7's running on a kicker kx1200.1 amp. now right now they r sitting in my back seat cuz the box does not fit in the trunk so for now i was thinking of just putting the one sub in the trunk but the sub is 4 ohms. would i mess up my sub or amp by running just the one sub on that amp?................i dont think this would be a prob but better safe then sorry.

The L7 are dvc 2ohms+2ohms so you can plug the coil to have 4ohms or 1ohm the kx at 4ohms will give you 300w and at 1ohms 1200w. There no problem to run the amp at 1 or 4 ohms.

The L7s come in both dual 4 ohm and dual 2 ohm configurations ... He has the dual 4 ohm version ...

Anyways, hooking one up is fine
