2 ohm or bridge@4 ohms?

my brother just gave me a 12" kicker comp r in a box and a 10" competetion 10 that he put in a old school bazooka tube. the 12 is rated as 500 rms and the 10 is rated as 400rms. i want to know if i can use the vibe 4200 lanzar 4 channel amp for these. I know that the amp is outdated but it was free so i want to try it. the amps specs are 4x225rms at 4ohms, 2x800 watts max at 4 ohms bridged, or 4 x 400 watts rms @2 ohms. the speakers are dual voice coils with a 4 and 1 ohm switch. i have both speakers set at 4 ohms. right now i have each speaker bridged to the amp. ex: the 12 is bridged to channel 1 and 2 and the 10 is bridged to channels 3 and 4. is this the best set up using this equipment?
