My daughter managed to get a new 05 cavalier and wants to have the stock system changed out.

Been awhile since I been in the install game.

To add an aftermarket HU, you have to retain the stock deck correct? Guess a relocate to the trunk. Anyone making a relocate kit yet for these cars?

Also need an install kit if I remember right.

Not to familiar with this new system.

Thanks

Eventually will be adding one of my old PG ZX 350`s and the Ocatne 12 in the trunk.

The relocate is the safer choice, there are many reports of parts of the computer bing in the stock radio, such as the airbag controller and the memory for the ECU.

In most cases that I know of you just loose door chimes.. which are annoying anyway... IMO...
