Chev Sprint for Street Vehicle

I am just trying to get my plans ready for next season and can get my hands on a 2 dr. Chev Sprint for free. I mean, I know it is not the best vehicle out there, but it has to be better than my mustang. I mean, anything would be.
Has anyone done up a sprint for comp purposes? Is it worth running all the wire or should I just keep my eyes open for a different vehicle. I mean, free is pretty cheap.
I was gonna do a street A setup. Just need opinions on the vehicle please...

really...what kinda #'s were you hitting? What type of box? Any info would be greatly appreciated. How are they to work on as far as stereo applications?

It was in the mid 40's with 500 watts and some cheap *** subs.
Subs up, aeroports back. wide, short, narrow box.
Very easy to work on, I found.
HUGE step up. I think a sprint could break 150 pretty easy.
