Their website says 2.5 cubes each but should I max out my trunk space?

as long as its around 4.5-5 cubes after all displacements you should be fine. i run a single HDC3 in a 2.25 cube enclosure @ 34hz

i could sketch something up for you if you'd like

With the power you are going to be running, i would suggest 2.25-2.5 per without port and sub displ.

I was making a recommendation on power and overall daily usage. Would you have put 6000rms on them in 2.5-3 .cubes individually. Probably not.

if you ahve the room, run them in an enclosure between 2.5 and 3 cubes after displacment @ 36-40hz. if your gonna give them a bit more RMS than rated, go a bit smaller, around 2.25 and 2.5 cubes after displacements @ 36-40hz. i emailed Audioque about it and got that statement in an email.

^^^ per woofer, not shared common chamber

Sure. I actually have done so. Are you saying he's using a lot of power or not enough power? I'm confused.

i think hes saying that since each woofer is getting 1700 rms that he should build an enclosure to the amount of cubic feet he suggested. if i were the o/p i would go with something a bit smaller. but those AQ's will do fine, give em a good amount of break in time

I am saying what i believe would be an approriate size eclosure for the power he has. It is in my opinion. Not fact, all he can do is take opinions and use them in his best interest. You have put them in .8 cubes per im sure that was taken from recommendations or your own conclusion not by a factual statement given to you.
