I recently bought a 88 Dodge aries and found that one of the speakers in the back doesnt work, so now im in the market for 5x7s, the only ones i was able to find were crapy $70 pioneers and $170 infinitys. I was wondering if there are any decent 5x7s out there that arent too expensive. I also need a new deck for the car, something cheap but not too bad, i was thinking of an Alpine 9821(?) which i can get for $220.

I have 5x7's in my mustang, I decided to go with JL TR's, got em for $60US brand new off eBay, and I think they sound nice.

There are lots of 5x7 (6x8) speakers in this industry, have a close look and you will find even more of them.

Well ive made my purchase, yesterday I got a pair of Rockford FRC4257's and an Alpine CDA-9825. I even got some 6x9 MBquarts for my dads camaro for super cheap.

Did you listen to any of thosespeakers before you made your decision? Most of the people I demo the Pioneer vs. the Infinity vs. the Rockford, 20% take the Inifinity, 70% take the Pioneer, and 10% go Rockford.
