I agree with George on the old ADS 6.2 woofers as I had good success with them in the early to mid 90s.

Currently, I have a set of brand new Kicker F6.5 woofers available. I'm not sure if they're still offered by Kicker but these sold for about $99 each a number of years ago. The unique feature of them is that they are designed for free-air application (which is ideal for putting them in doors or side panels).

If you can't find what you're looking for locally, PM me for a price on these.

^^^^ Nice find.

The only thing that bothers me is that the cone mass is twice the wieght of most every other competing design.

I tried one out about 4-5 years ago and was not impressed with the SL170. I realize they are best used in multiples, probably vented, much like the Focal 5". You have had some good luck with them? What kind of applications?

Yeah I tried it vented, off of a 250a2 RF, maybe the box should have been different, I did it to AVI's specs.

Sorry guys. I had some BIG computer problems. I will try to give you more info. I have looked into getting some JL Audio's and put them IN the back seat. They fire down when the seat is normal and fire to the back when the seat is flipped up. NO space loss. Either that or modify the sound bar. I have a MTX Blue Thunder pro1502 amp that is brand new. Could I use it for the subs?
